I acknowledge that all information provided to Esteemed Financial Services LLC is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that I am required to have any supporting documentation to validate the information provided. Furthermore, I understand that knowingly providing false information on my tax return and reporting it to the IRS, that I am taking part in a potentially criminal penalty situation and is punishable by law including but not limited to: facing court dates, restitution, and possible imprisonment. I waive Esteemed Financial Services LLC and the preparer of any error due to incorrect information provided by me. By signing below, I authorize Esteemed Financial Services LLC to file my tax return.
I acknowlege by signing this form if I and/or my spouse owes a federal/governement debt such as IRS, child support, student loans etc., I/we are still responsible for tax preparation fees due to {{custom_values.legal_business_name}} at the time of service. Also, if the federal refund amount is mailed, I/we are still responsible for the tax preparation fees stated on the invoice. If the tax preparation fees are not paid, I understand Esteemed Financial Services LLC will take legal action to collect the unpaid tax preparation fees
ENGAGEMENT LETTER
Dear Taxpayer,
Thank you for choosing us to prepare your income tax returns. To ensure a clear understanding of our working relationship, please review the following information.
We will prepare your income tax returns based solely on the information you provide. Once your tax returns are completed, we will return any original documents to you. Our office may retain scanned copies of your documents for our records, but it is important for you to keep all original documents, canceled checks, and other supporting materials related to income, deductions, and tax forms. This includes records for deductions such as meals, entertainment, travel, business gifts, charitable contributions, vehicle use (if applicable), and bank and credit card statements. These records are essential for verifying the accuracy and completeness of your returns in case they are selected for review by tax authorities. We recommend keeping all documents and copies of your returns for at least five years after filing or the due date, whichever is later.
Our work in preparing your income tax returns does not include verifying the accuracy of the documents or figures you provide for errors, irregularities, or illegal activities, including fraud. We will apply our professional judgment to address any ambiguities in tax law or conflicts between tax authority interpretations and other reasonable positions. Unless directed otherwise by you, we will adopt a favorable tax position when reasonable. However, we cannot guarantee that our tax positions will not be challenged or predict the outcome of any such challenge. Additionally, we are not responsible for any issues arising from income, expenses, or other information not provided to us during the preparation or before filing of your returns.
Please be aware that this engagement and our firm's services primarily cover general and annual income tax-related matters. Unless specifically requested by you and agreed upon in writing, we do not provide services related to payroll tax, sales tax, excise tax, or personal and real property tax. Additionally, we cannot be relied upon to determine or report your compliance with Federal, State, or Local business laws, healthcare or human resource regulations, retirement plan compliance, or any business, property, or professional permits or licenses.
Our service charges are based on a 'per form' basis, taking into account the time spent by our professional staff, as well as any related expenses, such as copy fees, long-distance calls, and computer processing costs. Payment for the preparation of your tax returns is due upon the presentation of your completed tax filing. As a company policy, tax returns or any related reports, schedules, information, advice, or notes will not be released until payment is made in full.
In the event that payment is not received for services rendered and we are required to seek legal assistance to collect the outstanding fees, please note that you may be responsible for reimbursing any legal costs incurred. We understand that costs are an important consideration for our clients, and we will make every effort to provide you with a fee estimate before completing your returns. However, please be aware that circumstances may arise that could increase or decrease the estimated fee, and we will promptly notify you if adjustments are needed after an estimate has been provided.
Once your tax returns are complete and your preparation fees have been paid, we will provide you with a copy of the returns, along with e-file signature authorizations and any necessary payment vouchers to finalize your filing. Please review the completed returns carefully. If you notice any discrepancies or need changes, notify us immediately, and we will either explain the issue or make corrections promptly, providing you with updated copies.
If everything looks correct, please sign and date the e-file authorization forms and return them to our office as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot submit your tax returns without your signed authorization, as required by all tax authorities. If e-filing is not an option, we will provide you with paper copies to sign and mail to the relevant tax authorities.
By signing this engagement agreement, you consent to compensating Esteemed Financial Services LLC for the services you have requested. If you choose to terminate the engagement before the completion of your tax accounting work, Esteemed Financial Services LLC reserves the right to bill you for any out-of-pocket expenses, time charged at our hourly rate, or other costs incurred during this engagement. If you have received in-person consultations, advisory services via phone or email, representation services, or any tax accounting services, by signing this engagement letter, you agree to compensate Esteemed Financial Services LLC for these services, even if you terminate the engagement before our firm completes the requested or required work.
Please be advised that if you receive any correspondence from a taxing authority that pertains to a tax return prepared by this firm we will be happy to address this matter on your behalf. Included in the cost of your tax preparation is 120 minutes of correspondence work per tax year at no additional charge. During that 120 minutes we will assess your situation and apprise you of the course of action we believe is best to take. If we can also compose and send off a reply to the appropriate taxing authority then we will certainly do so. If the matter or issue will involve more than 120 minutes of work, each additional hour (or fraction thereof) will be billed at a standard hourly rate of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) per 60 minute hour. When possible, we will do our best to inform you if we believe your issue will require more than 120 minutes to handle, however there may be a situation when we are unable to inform you in advance. Even if we are unable to inform you, the standard hourly rate listed above will apply and is payable upon completion of this work. At any time in the process you may choose to have us cease our work in connection with your correspondence but we will require said request in writing with your name and signature included. If, during the course of this work, it becomes apparent the correspondence received was due to an error or omission by this office there will be no charge for handling the correspondence regardless of the time involved.
Please be aware that, unless our office is at fault a minimum of $50 will be charged for any assistance requested in dealing with correspondence from any taxing authority. This charge is not included in your annual tax preparation fees and is payable upon completion of our work in connection with said correspondence.
Please note that audit or examination representation is included in the tax preparation fee and is a separate service with its own fee structure. If your returns are audited or examined by any tax authority for any reason, there will be an additional fee for representation services. This fee will apply regardless of whether you opt for Audit Maintenance Protection. If you have any questions about audit or examination representation, please feel free to ask at any time—before, during, or after your appointment.
Audit Maintenance Protection for $89.99 which will be added in with your tax preparation fees.
Esteemed Financial Services LLC We take your privacy and personal information very seriously. We are committed to safeguarding your data and will never sell or disclose it to anyone outside the firm for any reason. While we protect your confidential information, please note that, occasionally, we may use some of your details for internal purposes not directly related to your current year’s tax preparation. For example, we may send you a newsletter, a holiday card, or make a personal phone call to extend greetings or birthday wishes. By signing this letter, you consent to our staff having limited access to your information for these informal, non-tax-related purposes.

CONSENT TO USE OF TAX RETURN INFORMATION
Federal law requires that this consent form be provided to you. Unless authorized by law, we cannot use your tax return information for purposes other than preparing and filing your tax return without your consent. Additionally, federal law prohibits us from disclosing any personal or financial information to third parties. Therefore, we will never share your financial or personal information with anyone unless you specifically request it in writing, detailing the individual(s) to whom you wish the information to be disclosed, using a separate consent form.
This consent form is intended solely to meet federal requirements so that we may communicate with you via phone, send you emails, mailings, newsletters, reminders, holiday cards, greetings, and notifications about upcoming deadlines.
Completing this form is not mandatory. If we obtain your signature by making our services contingent upon your consent, that consent will not be valid. Your consent will remain effective for the duration you specify. If you do not indicate a time frame, your consent will be considered valid for three years from the date of your signature.

>Updates regarding any changes that may affect our engagement, such as changes to our firm’s website address, email address, physical location, or other contact, biographical, or geographical information.
>Other reasonable business purposes, including but not limited to appointment reminders, holiday mailings, birthday greetings, and other informational communications.
The tax information must not be disclosed or utilized by Esteemed Financial Services LLC its owner, employees, or staff, for any purpose other than those allowed by this consent document.
If you believe your tax return information has been disclosed or used improperly in a manner unauthorized by law or without your permission, you may contact the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) by telephone at 1-800-366-4484 by email at [email protected].
CONSENT FOR PAYMENT
Here at Esteemed Financial Services LLC We value the relationship we have with each of our clients and strive to provide you with the highest level of service. However, we want to remind you that we are offering a service, not a refund. As a taxpayer, you have the option to pay your tax preparation fees using one of the following methods: cash, check, money order, credit card, or directly from your refund.
*If you decide to have your tax preparation fees deducted from your refund and your refund is intercepted for any reason, YOU REMAIN RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TAX PREPARATION FEES! Please contact our office immediately to discuss payment or payment arrangements. By signing your return, you agree to pay the preparation fees regardless of whether your refund is received. If no payment or arrangement is made within 90 days of the scheduled refund date, we may be compelled to send your account to collections and/or debit your bank account. We hope to avoid this situation, so please maintain open communication with us so we can assist you!
